PARTS
COSTS
How much should you expect to pay for computer parts?
Here is
my rule of thumb:
At this moment in time,
I think that an individual seldom goes wrong
when they buy
computer parts (like video cards, modems, memory,
DVD burners, etc.) from
the “NEWEGG” company.
When you know
what version or model of part you need
just look it up on the internet at http://www.newegg.com
You should
never expect to pay more than 10-to-30 percent above the
Newegg cost even if you buy from a local computer repair facility.
And remember: a reputable business will
gladly install a new part
for you as long as it is compatible with your present hardware
(especially if it's in an unopened box from the manufacturer).
